About VEIR

My people
Need a place
To dwell.

The word God gave Pastor Reginald Robinson in January 2024.

Our Story
01 / Our Story
  1. 2010

    It started with a drive.

Once a month, Pastor Reginald and Pastor Tamara Robinson made the drive from Tuscaloosa to Huntsville. The first service was held at Oakwood University. No building, no staff, no name anyone would recognize yet — just a conviction that God was doing something in this city and a willingness to keep showing up for it.

  2. 2012

    They stopped driving.

After two years of driving, the Robinsons moved to Huntsville for good. What followed was twelve years of building. The work took different shapes over those years and carried different names. What stayed constant was the people — a small group who kept gathering, kept praying, and kept believing there was more coming.

  3. 2024

    The word, and the name.

In January, God gave Pastor Robinson a sentence: My people need a place to dwell. Not a program. Not a building campaign. A place to dwell — somewhere people could belong before they were asked to perform. That word became VEIR Church at Huntsville.

  4. Today

    A home on Holmes Avenue.

About fifty of us gather on Sundays in a brick building on Holmes Avenue. We know each other's names and most of each other's business. Fourteen years of ancient paths, arriving at a new reality.

VEIR

VisionsExplodingInto
Reality

Every person walks in carrying something — a concept, an idea, a calling they can't shake. Most people never get handed the principles, the power, or the encouragement to bring it into the world. That's the gap VEIR exists to close.

03 / Acts 2:42

What We're Built On

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.”

Acts 2:42
  1. 01Biblical Teaching
  2. 02Fellowship
  3. 03Shared Life
  4. 04Prayer

We call ourselves an Acts 2:42 church because those four practices are the whole job. We're not trying to improve on that. We're trying to actually do it.

Where We're Going
04 / Mission

Mission

We exist to help people encounter Jesus, find authentic community, discover their purpose, and become equipped to transform the world around them.

Encounter. Restore. Develop. Release.

Vision

To see God-given visions explode into reality through transformed people, strengthened families, and thriving communities.

05 / Who We Are
Driven by
People.
Not programs.

We love people hard. You'll feel it your first Sunday. We're a family, and we don't use that word loosely. We make deep biblical principles practical, because a truth you can't live on Monday isn't doing you much good.

06 / Our Teams

Nobody here
is a spectator.

Five teams keep this house running every week. Serving starts with membership — we want to know you before we hand you a role, and we want you to know us.

For yourself.

Fourteen years, and we're just getting started. There's a seat for you Sunday.
