What We Believe

Rooted inScripture.Lived in reality.

The Bible is our final governing authority. Everything below comes from it, and everything we do is measured against it.

What This House Is Built On

Prayer

We're a house of prayer, and that isn't a slogan on a wall. Prayer is how God's life and power get released into individual lives, into families, and into this congregation. It's central to everything else on this page.

Discipleship

We teach the Word so that people grow — in their love for Christ, in obedience, in their readiness for His return, and in their ability to share the gospel themselves. Those God brings in, we bring alongside, so they can go do the same for someone else.

What We Believe

God

God is the creator of heaven and earth. He exists in and of Himself, with no beginning and no ending of days. He is sovereign, eternal, and loving — one God, who operates in three manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ

Jesus is God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles and His teaching. He came to reveal the heart of the Father to a spiritually orphaned world. He died for the sin of the world, was resurrected with all power in His hands, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.

The Holy Spirit

After Jesus ascended, He manifested Himself to the Church through the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is our helper, our comforter, and the down payment on our eternal inheritance in Christ.

The Scriptures

The Bible is God's inspired word to the world and our final governing authority — profitable for teaching, correction, and training in righteousness, so that God's people are complete and equipped for every good work.

Salvation

Through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, sin is covered and forgiven — past, present, and future. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved. Redemption and restoration are offered to everyone who comes seeking mercy.

Sanctification

Salvation is the beginning. What follows is a lifelong process in which the Holy Spirit, living and working inside the believer, conforms us into the image of Jesus Christ.

Water Baptism

Baptism is an outward demonstration of an inward faith. We baptize by immersion, for those who follow Jesus Christ. We also dedicate children to God, along with their parents and family, and we commit to helping every child discover and live out their God-given purpose.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Once saved, the believer has access to the fullness of the Holy Spirit, who comes to empower them for both life and ministry.

Communion

We observe the Lord's Supper in memory of Christ's broken body and shed blood, celebrated by believers walking in fellowship with Him.

The Church

The Church is the worldwide body through which the kingdom of God is established in the earth. And every believer needs a local one — a body they actually belong to, where they're nurtured spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and financially in Christ.

Eternity

He is
Coming back.

We believe Jesus is coming back for a pure and spotless bride. Those who have placed their faith in Him will be with Him forever in His eternal kingdom — not on the basis of good deeds, but because they've been forgiven by Jesus Christ.

Every person deserves compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity.

Hateful or harassing behavior toward anyone is out of step with Scripture and has no place in this house.

Come see
It lived out.

The best way to understand what we believe is to come sit with us on a Sunday.
