Where exactly am I going?
Look for the brick building.
2305 Holmes Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35816. There are two parking lots — pull into the one directly in front of the building. We hold spaces right by the doors for first-time guests, so you're not circling looking for a spot.
What time should I get there?
Come at 10. Or come at 11.
Sunday Fellowship Hour — 10:00 AM
Coffee and conversation in small groups. Completely optional, but we'd love to see you.
Sunday Worship — 11:00 AM
Either way, you're on time.
Running late? Our greeters are at the doors until 11:20. Walk in whenever you get here.
What am I supposed to wear?
Whatever you want.
On any given Sunday you'll see jeans and sneakers sitting next to suits and dresses. Nobody is checking. Come as you are and mean it.
Will everyone know I'm new?
Only if you want them to.
We won't ask you to stand up, raise your hand, or introduce yourself to the room. Someone will meet you at the door and help you find a seat if you'd like. That's the whole thing.
You'll be offered a connection card. It's optional. If you fill it out, someone from our team will reach out — that's all it's for.
What is worship actually like?
Our music runs both gospel and contemporary. People stand. People raise their hands. We're a prophetic house and the Holy Spirit moves in our services — but we believe in etiquette. Nobody will pray over you without asking first.
After the message we open a time for prayer, and for anyone who wants to give their life to Christ. Nobody gets pulled forward. You come if you want to come.
How long is all this going to take?
90 Minutes.
Worship starts at 11:00 and we're usually done by 12:30.
What happens to my kids?
VEIR Kids.
Ages 3 to 12.
Your kids start in the sanctuary with you. After the second worship song, our youth pastor walks them back to the children's ministry room — and you are welcome to walk back with them and see the space for yourself.
Their hour: worship, a video Bible lesson, a fun activity, and a moment where we hand them money so they can practice giving. They come out and back to you at the end of service.
If your child needs you, our staff will come get you or bring them out. The children's ministry room sits directly across from the sanctuary, and the doors stay locked during service.
And my baby?
Little ones stay with you.
Children under 3 stay with you in worship. You won't be the only one, and nobody here is bothered by the noise.
What about my teenager?
They stay in the room.
Thirteen and up stay in service with us. We don't run separate youth programming right now, and that's on purpose — we want them learning how to engage in worship alongside everybody else, not in a side room.
Am I going to be asked for money?
Not as our guest.
We receive an offering at the end of every service. We believe giving is worship, and we encourage everyone who calls VEIR home to take part in it. As our guest, there is no expectation for you to give anything.
What happens when it's over?
Don't rush out.
We fellowship after every service. All four of our pastors are available if you want to meet somebody. If you want prayer, anyone on our ministry team will pray with you.
And if you want to get connected, fill out that card — or come see us during service. There's a moment for that too.
